• The speed of looms equipped with jacquard machines is limited to about 130 rpm by the vibrations of lingos and the disobedience of the order of cards. The distribution of drop points of the lingo has been investigated by an electric spark method between the lingo and a special kind of paper.<BR>To narrow the distribution of drop points, a control plate was set above or below the eye board. Accurate shedding has been obtained by using heavier lingos and higher warp tension than the usual.
