• Crimped only temporarily, the usual man-made textile fibers are not superior to wool in the durability of crimp.<BR> To make it durable, it is necessary to prevent the thermal shrinkage of thermoplastic fibers, or rather extend it during or before the crimping process.<BR> In view of the crimp durability, many kinds of textile fibers on the market still seem to be improved furthermore.
