Crimp durability is obtainable by a special technique which makes the cause of crimp to be superior to external forces, but the mechanism has not been clarified in detail yet.<BR> Durability is considerably affected by some physical properties, such as crystallinity, orientation and density.<BR> Furthermore, durability is closely related to the parameter of the compliance ratio which represents the degree of plasticity. Reduction in the parameter of plasticity makes the crimp more durable.
