A, disc is attached under the braiding point to keep the yarn tension-constant.<BR> By using a suitable disc, the CV of the braid tensile strength can be lowered. The increase of the braid tensile strength is due not to the decrease in yarn path-length variations but to the increase of yarn tension, which is caused by the friction between the yarn and the disc.
