An opininon survey was made with a questionnaire on medical ethics and social responsibility, and then a comparison was made between dental students and dentists who had graduated from same dental college.<BR>The survey revealed the following opinions. The best policy in dental practice is to get the patient's trust, and to be kind to the patient. Dentists give more attention to attitudes of trust, kindness, and social responsibility than dental students.<BR>In the dentist's opininon, medical ethics should be taught in various departments of the university.
