An 82-year-old woman presented a 5.0×4.5cm, well-demarcated, partially brownishblack, erythematous plaque in the left abdomen of about 15 years' duration. There were slightly raised portions in the plaque. No apparent regional lymphadenopathies were present. Histologically the center of the plaque showed tumor cell nests invading into the dermis and connected with the epidermis. The tumor cells consisted of diastase-labile, CEA-negative, clear cytoplasms with large, atypical nuclei surrounded by peripheral basaloid cells. There were duct-like structures within the nests. The overlying epidermis also showed clear cell nests without atypical nuclei. The plaque was excised in toto with lcm margins. There were no recurrences or metastasis 12 monthe later.
