概要

• There are many reports on organic mercurial seed disinfectants in agricultural germicides and they are used widely on account of their high germicidal power, especially, their use by the farmers is increased recently as a germicide superior than that of copper. However, there are only a few methods of estimation of their purity, among which may be mentioned : (1), Precipitation method; (2), Volatilization method; (3), Volumetric analysis, and (4), Dithizon method. These methods showed various deffects as given in the experimental part and the method of analysis is improved by use of polarography for a simple and rapid analysis. Its fundamental method and accuracy of analysis are discussed by statistical method and a satisfactory method for industrial analysis is established.
