Separation of vitamins B<SUB>1</SUB>, B<SUB>2</SUB>, B<SUB>6</SUB> and B<SUB>12</SUB> was studied using the connected strips of different kinds and lengths of ion exchange papers. <BR>Vitamin B<SUB>1</SUB> and B<SUB>6</SUB> were separated by adsorption on a strip of Amberlite WA-2 (NH<SUB>4</SUB> form, 1 cm × 3.7cm) connected with Amberlite SA-2 (H form, 1 cm × 5.7 cm) followed by development with water. <BR>Separation of B<SUB>2</SUB> and B<SUB>6</SUB> was done by the use of Amberlite WA-2 (NH<SUB>4</SUB> form, 1 cm × 11.5 cm) connected with Amberlite SB-2 (OH form, 1 cm × 11.5 cm) and that of B<SUB>1</SUB>, B<SUB>12</SUB> by the use of Amberlite SA-2 (Na form, 1 cm × 11.5 cm) connected Amberlite WA-2 (H form, 1 cm × 11.5 cm).<BR>Mixture of B<SUB>1</SUB>, B<SUB>2</SUB> and B<SUB>6</SUB> was separated by development with water by the use of Amberlite WA-2 (NH<SUB>4</SUB> form, 1 cm × 3.7 cm), SA-2 (Na form, 1 cm × 5.7 cm) and SB-2 (OH form, 1 cm × 5.7 cm), and that B<SUB>1</SUB>, B<SUB>2</SUB>, B<SUB>6</SUB> and B<SUB>12</SUB> was separated by development with 0.2<I>M</I> sodium acetate by the use of Amberlite SA-2 (Na form, 1 cm × 11.5 cm) connected with. Amberlite SB-2 (OH form, 1 cm × 11.5 cm).
