Form the results of marking experiments, as well as from the records of catch according to the several body-weight classes, the survival rate of Sccmber juponicus (HOUTTUYN) was estimated to be 40 for the age of from 2 to 3 years, and 21 for the age of from 3 to 4 years. it seems promissing to search for the unknown fishing grounds of larger fish aged above 4 years.
