Various kinds of fish were analysed, involving the variation of composition as influence by species and season. In migrating fishes the water content is smaller in quantity than in bottom fishes, and in middle-layer fishes such as Trachurus japonicus and Latcorablax japonicus, the content lie between them. In many fishes tce fat content is disposed to increase in the season when the fish is delicious.
