The sodium aerosol depletion rate in circular conduits has been analyzed for gas resident time and particle size distribution. Experiments using circular tubes were performed to obtain the depletion rate in dry and humid atmospheres. Analytical results were compared with the experimental data and the effect of relative humidity on the particle size distri-bution was also evaluated.
