Oil crisis occurred in 1973 awakened the Japanese industries to become much more conscious than ever about energy conservation.Lately in 1992 more than 140 countries over the world gathered in Rio de Janeiro to agree with the environment protection treaty on the global basis and in November of the same year the guard against green house effect of the earth by prohibiting the usage of fron gas, trichroloethan and those hazardous materials was confirmed in the international conference held in Montreal.Thus, energy conservation as a “must” for reducing production cost has now been developed to the common philosophy of environment protection of the earth.Keeping pace with such tendency of the world industry of heat treatment an emphasis is put on the technology development for energy conservation on the basis of lean production by the most rationalized equipments. In the paper we would examine the current technologies in the following terms.(1) Energy saving(2) Copper tube coil annealing furnace with degreasing system(3) Saving of processing time, area and processing itself(4) High accuracy atmosphere gas control system
