A new method of green hydrogen (H2) production by mechanical mixing of aluminum (Al) with water (H2O) using glass and stainless steel reactors was studied. There was a long induction period for H2 production by the reaction of Al with H2O using glass reactor. This induction period was remarkably decreased by increasing revolution rate and the optimal revolution rate was 1250 rpm. Furthermore, the reaction of Al with H2O using stainless steel reactors was examined in order to get more information about practical use of H2 production. In this case, the induction period was also observed, but this induction period was decreased by increasing reaction temperature and Al weight.
