• Several 2-sulphanilamido-4-methyl-5-[5-arylamino-1, 3, 4-oxadiazolyrjthiazoles, 2-sulpha-nilamido-4-methyl-5-[5-arylamino-1, 34-thiadiazolyl]thiazoles, 2-sulphanilamido-4-methyl-5-[4-aryl-5-mercapto-1, 2, 4-triazolyl]thiazoles and bis[4-aryl-5-(2-sulphanilamido-4-methyl-thiazol-5-yl)-1, 2, 4-triazol-3-yl]disulphide have been synthesised with a view to study their biological properties. Some of the synthesised compounds checked fungal growth to a great extent.
