• cis-Zeatin riboside was isolated and identified as its trimethylsilyl derivative from tubers of sweet potato by solvent extraction, ion-exchange chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography, Amaranthus betacyanin bioassay, and mass spectrometry. The level was estimated from the result of bioassays.
