This study aims at demonstrating and analyzing the gender division of labor between parents and the needs of domestic and social support of main caregivers of the school age children with disabilities by an interview. Main caregiver is one of the most important aspects of quality of daily life of their children. We had an interview with 25 main caregivers in Hiroshima Prefecture. All caregivers in this study are mothers of their children. We classified into three types of gender division of labor between parents, then grasped and analyzed of their needs of domestic and social support. Main caregivers of any type run their housework by gender division of labor. There is no husband who contributed to housework except for child care in daily life. The subjects of any type put high value on expressive support than instrumental support to both domestic and social support. They tried to cover almost all daily necessary support for their children by themselves, and they used the minimum charged community support.
