[症例報告]癌性胸膜炎合併乳癌局所再発例に対する腫瘍切除ならびに有茎皮膚移植術の一例

Previously, patients with locally recurrent breast cancer accompanied with malignant pleural effusion were no candidates for sugical intervention, and therapy consisted mainly of local radiation or chemotherapy. We report a case in which systemic anticancer chemotherapy combined with interpleural administration of adriamysin were effective in controling the pleural effusion, whereafter, local resection of the recurrent tumor followed by reconstruction utilizing combined rectus and latissimus dorsi musculo-cutaneous flaps was undertaken. Post-operative wound healing was satisfactory, and the interpleural tube was removed on the 16th post-operative day. The patient was discharged on the 10th post-operatie week, 6 months after the first signs of pleuritis carcinomatosa were observed on the plain chest x-ray films.
