Twenty-nine patients with suspected pulmonary lesions, and three normal volunteers, underwent gadolinium-enhanced three-dimensional (3D) pulmonary MR angiography (MRA). The MRA were obtained during intravenous administration of gadolinium-based contrast material, in a single breath-hold. Conspicuity of the normal pulmonary segmental arteries, expect for A4, 5, 6, 8, and9 of the left pulmonary artery, could be clearly visualized. Blind reading of four differential diagnoses. This technique shows promise as a noninvasive diagnosis of lung diseases.
