Aldosterone-producing adenoma is a rare but surgically surable disease of primary aldosteronism. We experienced two cases of aldosterone-prosucing adenoma ; the first patient was a 39-year-old woman with hyrertension, snd the scond patient a 47-year-old woman complained of paresthesia. In both patients, the plasma aldosterone sonsentration / plasma renin activity ratio was inappropriately increased. The ratio is considered to be an usehul screening index to predict the exstence of aldosterone-producing adenoma.
