1. Five hundred and ninety-five mice were subjected to dry hot environment of various air temperature of from 35 to 200℃, for periods of 6 seconds to 12 hours. 2. Data on mortality, survival time and change of body temperature are presented. 3. Critical body temperature for mice is 42℃. 4. Formulas are presented to express percentage probability of mortality in mice, exposed to heat stress, in terms of exposure time and magnitude of air temperature.
