An autopsy case of juvenile cirrhosis in a 7-year-old boy, who suffered from jaundice, edema and ascites has been reported, and in addition detailed histological and histochemical changes of the liver have been presented. Postmortem examination disclosed postnecrotic liver cirrhosis with modification of septicemia. Histological findings of the liver was suggestive of viral origin.
