This study investigates how the nature of teaching materials and uniquely human information processing habits influence each other in the formation of interpretation bias and, based on these observations, explores how to shape literature courses by utilizing interpretation bias in the reading of literary teaching materials. Results revealed the following. First, the nature of teaching materials and human information processing habits link to form "interest and belief," the cognitive framework that in turn becomes the basis for contextual knowledge selection, thereby influencing the interpretation of teaching materials. Second, based on the process of interpretation, "interpretation process interaction" (including citation strategies) can be factored into the designing of courses that utilize interpretation bias.
