The result of the Task Trend Investigation of Vocational Instructors shows that instructors at vocational schools for the disabled faces two main complexities: to continuously pursue basic tasks as a vocational instructor and to cope with diversification and complication of the tasks of a vocational instructor for the disabled. The basic tasks are to instruct trainees in vocational skills and techniques. That disabilities of trainees get severer and, moreover, society rapidly changes, influenced by technological reformation and employment trend, leads to diversification and complication of the tasks of a vocational instructor. In consideration of the complexities implied by the investigation, abilities of vocational instructors for the disabled was analyzed with CUDBAS and supplement instructor training program was developed. This newly developed program suggested a more concrete image of effective measures against the two complexities mentioned earlier. It is the ability to cope with the various disability features of trainees that is crucial to the performance of the effective measures and, therefore, is the expertise of vocational instructors for the disabled. The expertise is an ability to clarify handicaps and limitations which a disabled person faces in search for a job and then to-modify the existing vocational training curricula and instruction methods; therefore, it has to be emphasized as the core of the supplement instructor training program.
