The purpose of this paper is to report on and analyze the development and practice of an engineering ethicseducation program for elementary students enrolled from grade five right up to the final year of junior high-school. Theauthor, who now teaches the engineering ethics class at Oyama National College of Technology (ONCT), was a memberof the management guidance committee at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology researchand development school that developed and implemented the engineering ethics program for children from September2010 toMarch 2013. In this paper, we analyzed data fromthe results of a questionnaire issued to students and their parentsin response to a programme introduced in the Kaminokawa area, in Tochigi prefecture, to determine how ONCT cancontribute effectively to the development of an engineering ethics education program for children.
