Utilization of ceiling type air conditioners increased rapidly for the air conditioning of school classroom recently. It Caused composure electric power tribe phenomenon for peak power occurrence in summer. Air-condtioner didn't reflect comfort of indoor's people properly. And in the case of air-conditioner operating, Energy consumption becomes overmuch because temperature's difference of indoor's people and inlet temperature sensor because temperature sensor of air-conditioner is located in air- conditioner's inlet Therefore, this study is aimed at finding out optimal position of the temperature sensor on the purpose of the comfort thermal environment and energy saving. The different 5 positions for the temperature sensor are supposed in this research to analyze thermal environment by CFD. From the analysis through the CFD simulations, the best position of the temperature sensor satisfying both comfort thermal environment and energy saving is obtained.
