Ultrasonic irradiation to a liquid generates cavitation bubbles with high temperature and high pressure. In this study, the formation of NO_2^- and NO_3^- during the sonolysis of air-saturated water was investigated to discuss the effects of the bubble temperature and pressure on the reactions of nitrogen with oxygen. It was suggested that the ratio of NO_2^- and NO_3^- is changed by the bubble temperature and pressure.
