According to preceding reports of the same title, complete retainment of the first-order term in each power series expression with respect to 1/N (N : number of stories) is essential for a sufficiently consistent reasoning during the distributed-parameter (flexural-shear cantilever) replacement of multi-story moment-resisting frames. The current note supplements the examinations with regard to associated eigenvalue problem in calculus, which is shown then to pose a novel type resulting from coexistence and separation of the zero- and first-order terms. Moreover the eigensolution of the auxiliary first-order term is to trace an unusual and curious process in relation to the independently separate solution of the primary zero-order term. The study highlights roles and features of its additional yet practically significant contribution in characterizing eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.
