「家庭科教育」に関する授業方法の一考察 : 小学校・中学校・高校における「家庭科」の授業実践を基にして

In these days though young teachers increase in elementary schools, a large number of them feel great anxiety on how to teach "Home Economics" to studennts. The following two points are considered as main cause of such situation. First, it is difficult that the teachers gain enough experiences of teaching "Home Economics" because this subject is set to learn for fifth and sixth grade elementary school students only. Second, not a few teachers are supported to cooking, washing, cleaning and so on by their family (parents) and it means that they themselves cannot have become independent in their daily life yet. Our students in this university also may have similar anxiety when they will become teachers in the future. For this reason, in the lessons regarding "Home Economics Education" in our university, it will be necessary to consider and examine the contents and construction of the lessons and also to plan effective teaching methods. I have practiced teaching of "Home Economics" for many years in elementary schools, junior high schools and high schools. Here I choose 5 most important fields and study teaching methods thereof, and disclose the cases of my practice to examine them.
