The purpose of this study is quantifying of circumferential waves on vortex ring using it as a tracer for visualization that the micro bubble is new one. At first, the micro bubble generation device and the water tank were made. The intermittent jet flow was generated by moving the piston in the water tank from the orifice. The photographs of this experiment were taken. As a result, the intermittent jet flow that generated it by this experiment and the vortex ring when other tracers were used had the same shape and the character. Micro bubbles gather in the vortex core because of the minimal buoyancy. The form and behavior of vortex core were visualized clearly. The circumferential waves are found at the center of the vortex core and the amplitude is increase with distance from the orifice. The wave numbers of circumferential waves tend to increase with the jet velocity and the quantity of flow.
