The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bioactivity of titanium mesh modified by anodic oxidation and cyclic precalcification treatments. Nanotubular TiO_2 layer showed the dense and self-organized structure. The bioactivity of titanium mesh was improved with the cyclic precalcification treatment in 0.05 M NaH_2PO_4 and saturated Ca(OH)_2 solutions.
