We propose a novel beam steering technique on slow-light waveguide amplifier. Giant beam steering (over 80°) is predicted with tuning the wavelength of input light. High-resolution beam steering is expected with increasing the amplifier length. In this paper, we present the modeling and characteristics of our proposed beam-deflector based on a slow light amplifier.
