• For the use of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based on digital signal processing (DSP) technologies in implementing the physical layer of future optical access systems, we will discuss the technical topics that need to be considered. Through recent reports, it also reviews the feasibility of an OFDM-based passive optical network (PON).
