The purpose of this study is to clarify characteristics and problems of "Researched study" that is one area of "Integrated practice activities" newly founded in a recent Chinese educational reform.Firstly, the regulations of "Researched study" in the national curriculum book and explanations of it in some guidance books are examined to show the characteristics of it. Secondly, a practice of "Researched study" in TianJin City T elementary school is actually observed, recorded and analyzed. In addition, the evaluation of the practice by a researcher of the TianJin city east district education bureau is examined.Through the comparative examination of the three materials, the regulations of "Researched study", the analysis of the practice and the evaluation of the researcher, it is shown that the problems of"Researched study" are not only defects of the educational system to practice "Researched study", but alsothe fundamental comprehension of the teachers about "Researched study".
