Cathode-supported solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), comprising porous (La_<0.75>Sr_<0.25>)_0.95MnO_<3-δ>(LSM)+SDC composite cathode substrate and 11mol%Sc_2O_3-doped ZrO_2(ScSZ) electrolyte membranes layers, were successfully fabricated via dual dry pressing. NiO-SDC anode was prepared by slurry coating method. The cell performances were measured at different temperatures 800 and 750°C by changing the external load. The peak power densities were 228 and 133mW/cm^2 at 800 and 750°C. The corresponding open-circuit voltages of the cell were 1.092 and 1.027 V at 800 and 750°C, respectively. Impedance analysis indicates that the performances of the SOFCs were determined essentially by the cathode-electrolyte interfacial resistances.
