The medieval view of labour, especially which is thought by Saint Victor School, has following three aspects. The first is personal action of the body, and the second is the virtue of social life. The third, which is most important, is the existential way of being good and happiness. But these aspects are being forgotten in modern management theories, which becomes scientific. Ergo, management theories conceal the labour of spirituality, and differentiate the organisational theory from the social ethics. For instance, the word "satisfaction of own work" is the abstracted function of the ordinary social life. And in the process of conceptualisation, it cuts off the moral elevation through the satisfaction of ordinary work. So, it is necessary to revisit the medieval view of labour. This paper considers the labour thought of Hugo of Saint Victor, and proposes its existential business ethics.
