This thesis introduces one attempt of arrangement as a staff of department of child education . In the field of preschool and schooling , especially when teaching music, it is essential to deal with materials with keeping flexibility and imagination according to the situation of children. That is one of the essences of arrangement in a narrow or broad sense. One staff member of department of child education can hardly escape the charge of superficial specialism when he always adheres his own speciality and study in a narrow sense. It is so important that he should connect it with the substance of business which his students will have to cover in the future, with broadenning and extending it gradually. That will be the very model for his students in the sense of "Education includes everything. Teachers must do all-around work ". The author also can say that will bring the possibility of broadening and deepening his own speciality with his experience. In philosophical words, that is deepening the speciality by 'plying' between speciality and nonspeciality. In this thesis, one secular piece is arranged as a primary stage toward child music. In detail it is arranged into a string quartet because we can feel good about collaboration between singing and it with resultant tone. While the sense of arrangement as a staff member of department of child education is closely connected to educational object of Japanese preschool (and occasionally elementary school), especially in the point of 'expression'.
