The ICT revolution brings new challenges for educational planners. Nicaragua has begun to integrating ICT in education and new plans and strategies are in under development. The introduction of ICT in schools will be a new experiences for many Nicaraguan teachers especially those in public schools. That fact might become a problem if not treated appropriately. For that reason, effective ICT training programs models should be created in order to motivate the utilization of ICT by teachers for their own development and for the improvement of the teaching and learning process in Nicaraguan schools.
