The full N-S equation for 3-D free-surface flows is solved by the finite-difference method at Reynolds number Re=10^6 where the flow is turbulent. To introduce a turbulence-adapted eddy viscosity, the two-layer algebraic Baldwin-Lomax model is used. Two kinds of grid systems are applied to improve the accuracy with relatively less computer storage; a coarse grid system is used for the whole domain while the fine grid for the free-surface. To overcome the still larger minimum-grid-spacing near the hull surfece, the wall function is applied for the body surface conditions.
