"Aschool dog was introduced to Suzuka junior college on 18th August, 2008. The school dog was a female Golden Retriever and it was named "Suzu". "Suzu" continued to havediarrhea for the first time and the treatment went long. After then, she spent busy days such as the treatment of otitis externa, removal of flea, vaccination and contraceptiveoperation but now she is in good physical health.As for health control of school dogs which relate with many people, we should give them enough daily care, meal, exercise, or protection against infectious diseases, etc and alsoconsider about animal welfare. It is important to consider students who have allergy or who are afraid of dogs and hygienic control is also important.This time I mainly report on health control about feeding system for 4 months after the introduction of the school dog."
