概要

• Oyamagaoka, Machida City - where the Salesian Polytechnic School is located - is an area of hills situated at the western part of Tama New Town. It can be reached through the Keio Sagamihara Line. Recently, seven(7) new condominium buildings were erected and this brought a sharp increase in the local population. The Oyama Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with our school, has produced "ARESA", a booklet aimed at introducing and promoting to the new residents the history, culture and charm of the locality. Looking back at the work done in the past years, there is a need to review and re-analyze the communication tools of Oyamamachi and the Oyamagaoka Area.
