• Firms, because of technological progress, supply many different products to the market in an often-sequential manner. It is important, however, to determine why a particular product is produced at a particular time. Economists have been slow to extend the theoretical study of this matter. The purpose of this paper is to advance a microeconomic theory in regard to technological progress to solve the above problem.
