Frequency fluctuations of the gyrotron in free-running mode is recommended to be as small as possible for the future active frequency stabilization. As the first step, the characteristics of frequency in free-running mode has been measured ad the slow frequency fluctuation has been already reported. Here the relations among the frequency, the temperature of the cooling water and the beam current are simultaneously measured. The result show that the frequency fluctuation is well related to that of the water temperature at the outlet from the gyrotron. So the chilling facility is added to the water cooling system. Then the frequency fluctuation related to the beam current, which could not be found before without chilling facility, has become to be observed. Besides, phase-locking is tried to find what is needed for the future stabilization experiment.
