In this study, I propose the construction of a kanji glyph database system that can be shared on the Internet as a means for using undefined kanji characters in character coded sets in digitizing kanji text resources. Users can register kanji glyphs on the database when necessary and the data will become open to the public automatically. The database applied the Wiki system, which users can use freely and easily. The database also applied the KAGE system for processing kanji glyphs data. This allows users to easily design glyphs in comparison with ordinary Outline based font formats. The system has been implemented, and I will evaluate the system having applied it to two Web based systems for the kanbun studies provided.
