室町時代後期清原家伝来古鈔本『論語集解』について : 清原枝賢本の伝鈔

Typical intelligentsia who received Kanseki, or Chinese books, were the gentry group, including Hakaseke, heredity scholars' families, Buddhist monks who studied in Zenshu, Shingon, Tendai temples, and samurai groups. These groups promoted cultural exchanges with the passage of time They flexibly studied Kunkogaku, or Chinese traditional studies and Sougaku, for example, Shuki. They helped develop Kangaku culture, which is outstanding in Keigaku and literature. This study based on the reading of Confucian books, especially "Lunyu," which is the shortest and best way to research and classify the old copy of "Lunyu," provides the formation and system for understanding the huge current of Kangaku of medieval times. This paper focuses on the succeeding text of Kiyoharake,one of Hakaseke,and attempts to summarize it up until the late medieval period, binding it to the next epoch. I examine the relationship between Kiyohara Edamasa and his grandfather Kiyohara Nobukata in the text and other circulated typed books in medieval times (Shoheiban,Tenmonban), to prove the reception of the "Lunyu" in the late Muromachi period. This paper tries to locate the "Lunyu" text in the bibliography of Japanese Confucian history.
