Though the health and physical education is a section of science which deals with human beings, the science which makes human beings on object of study is called the human science, and this is the science which pursues a clear explanation of the essential qualities of the human beings. Especially, within the limit in which the so-called scientific method would be applied, this has come to be called the human science. However, when studying the health and physical education, we must try to imagine a new field taking into consideration of progress of modern sciences. From this point of view, we proceed to examine a right place of the health and physical education in the whole scientific system. (1) Conduct be based upon physical processes (individual) and natural processes (group). (2) According to judgement of value, physics as cultural behavior and labor as social behavior be created as objects of health and physical education. (3) These objects shall be developed between subject and environment according to the theory of adaptation and acclimatization. (4) Each developed field shall be analyzed and studied by genetics, physiology, psychology, sociology, history and ecological methods. (5) Analyzed facts shall be substantiated by coordinated experiences. [figure]
