Competitive position in developing mobile market and developed fixed market is made by competitive power of equipment companies. The types of United States, Europe and Japan are classified. The type of United States is that competitive power of equipment companies in both mobile and fixed market weaken. The type of Europe is that competitive power in fixed market keeps and the power in mobile market weaken. The type of Japan is that competitive power in fixed market weakens and the power in mobile market keeps. The reason comes from product policy of equipment companies. Product policy of equipment companies in United States is that they produce only fixed or mobile equipment. So, big carriers of fixed market in United States cannot use competitive power in mobile market. And in fixed market they are suffered from offense of new comers. Product policy of equipment companies in Europe and Japan is that they produce both fixed and mobile equipment. And, European Union is made. Japanese market doesn't change. So, big carriers of fixed market in Japan can use competitive power in mobile market. But, they are suffered from offense of new comers in fixed market, because they are too ardent to see development of mobile market. On the other hand, big carriers of fixed market in Europe cannot use competitive power in mobile market, because development of mobile market makes the rival to feel so attractive and many new comers enter from a European inside. So, big carriers try to keep competitive power in fixed market.
