This paper introduces simulation software for power electronics education. Recently, for both saving time and cost, circuit simulators have been widely used in analysis of switching converters. We developed a new simulation soft ware for power electronics education. It provides the transient response, the steady state characteristics and the frequency responses. In the frequency analysis, it employs three types of analysis methods to reduce the computation time. The performance and accuracy of the simulation software were verified by the analysis and experiments.
