This paper presents a boost-buck two stage converter with coupled inductor for portable electronic devices. This two stage converter consists of a boost converter in the first stage and a buck converter in the second stage. converter. The current ripple flowed through the circuit component is greatly reduced. So the efficiency of light load region is improved. The stability of the proposed converter is improved as compared with that of the conventional two stage
