Nonequilibrium Nonlinear Phenomena in Cerium Nitrate Crystal at Low Temperatures(General)

Time series of ac conductivities at 2kHz were measured along the direction perpendicular to the c-axis of cerium nitrate crystal at temperatures from 200 to 11K in three measuring processes of both cooling and heating cycles. Nonequilibrium nonlinear phenomena were observed above 120K and below 190K in the first cooling cycle. Anomalies were found in the probability distribution functions derived from the time series data. The limit cycle was observed in the phase portrait constructed from the data.
