Continuous instruction of Graduate thesis for two years in department of Intelligent Mechanics gave some important hints to develop an education for students under third grade. A self-evaluation for graduation thesis was attempted. Followings are found be focused points to improve the education, by analyzing results of the self-evaluation. (1) What are resources to progress with an issue searching and thinking ability or a literacy? (2) Reeducation of mathematics, physics and English. (3) Necessity of small class education. (4) Necessity of four years systematic education to make the above points effective. These focussed points conduted a future educational vision, that is "raising a issue understanding ability and a sense of reponsibility". The vision was introduced into a lecture "Exercises of Intelligent Mechanics I, II" and some resources were adopted and achieved in the lectures. A class for the lecture consists of about twenty students. This scale is sufficient to call this class "small class" in our department which about one hundred students belong to in each grade. The subjects lectured in the class were, a. What do you learn in this university? b. Fundamental mathematics and physics. The first subject was selected to train the issue searching and thinking ability or a literacy. The other one was a supplementary tuition so as to help to understand more applied subjects. An avarage evaluation scores marked by students for this lecture in three years got rather high. Accordingly this small class lecture seems to be effective for students. These investigation results indicate the importance of the small class education. However, this educational method needs many teachers. It is impossible to achieve the small class education for all subject. Thus, a revision of curriculum is necessary to take the education method in a four years systematic education. Through the revision of curriculum, fundamental subjects should be regarded as important rather than applied subjects.
